Hi all! The non-working website links on our site, www.photoniccleaning.com, that I was trying to demonstrate last night have been fixed and will direct you to the SCT and Refractor cleaning flow charts. The flow charts will guide you through a decision-making process to select the items you need to clean your SCT or refractor. The Material Chart link for Reflecting Telescopes (except SCTs) worked last night and is still working. Clear skies, David Giesen

I mean, I love the subject matter you’re addressing, but I don’t think I can sit through two-plus hours of this stuff. On KZbin, my limit is about thirty minutes before my brain overloads.

Really enjoy and look forward to your weekly shows👍 One comment is the latest ASIAir SW now has an excellent Auto "Master" Flat, Bias, and Dark generator under the "Live" menu. I think it even considers the camera's Full Well Depth for optimum exposure for histogram since my 2600auto-flats gives an average ADU value close to 50k. I'm not 100% sure but all I can say is my flats turn out perfectly every time.. Keep looking up and enjoying the journey ✨️ Cheers!

If you're trying to look for vampires with a telescope a refractor would be the better choice.

One small but important detail. At 6:46 the antenna of your Plus is on almost at the horizontal, which in a big problem, as these antenna's most signal broadcasts at 90-degrees perpendicular to the antenna's plan. In simpler words, with the antenna at the vertical position, the signal will broadcast horizontally. In your case your Plus' signal is broadcasting vertically. I was hesitating to comment to not sound the smart guy here, but I think my input may help others too. Thanks for your video!

Eric, I'm going with my camera's base ISO of 100 and f/8. Since I will be using a tracker, the time is not limited by sun movement.

Thanks for the informative program. As a former (retired) software guy, I can tell you that it can be very hard to make things very easy for the end user. The challenges of seamlessly blending disparate devices and standards is nigh impossible, yet Bob Denny and a few others are making great strides (despite the proprietary-ness of the hardware vendors),

can eagle connect to laptop via AP mode and then connect to the iPhone to connect to the internet? If not how does one connect to the internet in a remote sight while also using AP mode to control the telescope?

Hi !! Sorry about the late reply! You could connect to the Eagle with its on board hotspot or it can connect to your home wireless network! Thank you for the answer, I purchased the Eagle XTM and was able to figure out that it would connect via the Eagle Wi-fi AP mode. Just have to remember to remote in first and connect.@@AstroWorldTV
