Just a reminder that this was made by Ubisoft and as such any subjects relating to gender or other touchy topics should probably be taken with a large grain of salt. Unfortunately, truth and historical accuracy no longer come before certain... other things... for this company.

There's no reason to use "BCE" rather than the pre-existing "BC" - other than to insult Christians, which is a proxy insult for the white race in general. It's disappointing to see such intentional disrespect.

This is truly a visual Marvel. I've never seen such a vivid approximation of the ancient institutions. I must Thank you for your imaginative, but at the same time proper, reconstruction of the holy Monuments of Athens. Bravi!

PS: only small flaw: some accents, such as Erechteion. With the correct pronunciation in the narrative, the illusion for me would be whole consistent.

Two points: Native Greeks are not dark skinned - but then you already knew that - there were not lots of columns in Sparta with warriors on top. It was an extremely rare honour in Sparta for anyone to be honoured as such. Such vanity was frowned upon on and would be seen as blasphemous.

The Helot are Serfs, and no they do not receives the privilege describes. They can not forms their own family unless notices and get approvals from the Spartan state, they can not buy their own freedom minus very few exceptions, they were allows to keep enough of their harvest to lives on to works, but not much more. Only in times of wars, where select portions of Helots whom are known to be very loyal to Spartan Nobility can joins the Spartan army as soldiers and get citizenships. The Spartan state is rules by the oldest richest two landowning clans of Sparta, thus Helots aren't own by private oligarch, they are own by the richest oldest two Oligarch clan in Sparta, who use them as target practices for Spartan youth through colling hunts, to have Spartan Youth, slaughters rioting Helots over over extractions of foods to keep the Helot populations in manageable population ever years.

For your information, these ancient Ruin was covers in sands, and dirt, very much "underground" during this Spartan vs Athen periods, it's only until the late 19th and 20th century did some German rich dudes and his men digs the sand and dirt all up and this is what they found.

For your information, Ancient Greek is very diverse, and don't expect the same from one city state to another, especially these custom when apply this stereotypes to Greek Colonies cities, settlements and those whom are influences by the Greeks mainland, but doesn't follows or event reject these custom. Etruscan, a city states in Italy, and the cultures of the Etruscan peoples, women haves ways mores social and political powers than those in Greeks, whom the Etruscan inspires much from, same apply for those in the smaller Greek/Italy cities state in the South. I highly doubts the Philistine in Egypt's Palestine follows the Greek custom either.
