What gym for a complete beginner
@fightervaultКүн бұрын
Maybe Dang or one of the more popular ones. Most gyms welcome complete engineers 😃 Could also be worth grabbing a private session to focus on the basics

No I'm a purple belt in Jiu Jitsu and try and explore local martial arts. Generally there's more gyms that do muay thai or boxing + its easier to film 👍🏻

I prefer the old intro of " Hi i am Gaz and i am on a journey to train martial arts in every country in the world". Then the video starts and gives information on where you are. Its like the start of a tv program when they have the opening theme song or credits.

Planning a trip to Koh Samui in May, I'm gradually improving my fitness and have dreamed of doing a 2 week muay thai camp. During May is the weather bearable to train hard on a daily basis? I'm late 40s and would love to do this before I'm no longer capable.

Yeah it will be really hot so I usually just go to the 7.30am morning sessions. Just start of steady and see how it goes but you’ll be fine. Hydration sachets & lots of water mate

Bangalore/Bengaluru really is the vibes. We have family that lives there so we stay there whenever we visit from Australia. If you like art and markets, Bangalore is the place for you. There are so many artists' markets that you can visit, and there many hidden bookstores that you can visit. The bookstores are amazing. Literally books EVERYWHERE!!!! Books in piles on tables, on the THOUSANDS of shelves, on the floors, chairs, etc, etc, etc. Many of the stores also have seating for people to just sit and read, although people love to just sit on the floor among the shelves and read. It's a great place to meet like-minded book-lovers too!
