Here you go! Ingredients: 1/4 tsp saffron 1 tbs salt 1 tsp black pepper 1 tsp turmeric 1/4 tsp cayenne 1/2 tsp sumac 1/2 tsp paprika Juice of 2 limes 1/4 cup mayo 1/4 cup 4 lbs chicken (breasts/drumsticks/wings) 1 onion Directions: 1. Add the saffron to a small dish with boiling water, stir and allow to settle for 5-10 minutes 2. Add the seasonings, mayo, olive oil and lime juice to a medium sized bowl and whisk until fully combined. 3. Slice the onion into halves, then thirds. Pour the marinade mixture into a large bowl with a lid then add the chicken and onion. With gloved hands, mix everything together to fully coat. Put the lid back on and place into the fridge for 24 hours or longer. 4. After the chicken is done marinating, prepare your preferred cooking method (we used a Ninjafoodi indoor grill) preheat the grill to 450°F and cook for 14-16 minutes or until the inside of the chicken is 165°F. 5. Serve with tahdig (recipe coming soon) or white rice, salad Shirazi, mast-o-khiar, or roasted tomatoes. Sprinkle sumac over top!

Where do you get saffron water or do you have to make it?
@Familiacortezzz3 ай бұрын
You can just put oil and butter and saffron powder. Very very expensive
@theparsafamily3 ай бұрын
Most people make it. We take the saffron threads and crush them into a fine powder and then place the power with an ice cube in a small container. Once the ice is melted the saffron water is ready to use

Ingredients: - 1 cup coconut sugar (sub white sugar) - 2 tbs culinary grade dried lavender buds - 1 cup water Instructions: - in a small sauce pan, add the water and lavender buds and bring to a boil. - Add the coconut sugar and allow to simmer for 15 minutes - Remove from the heat and allow to cool for 15 minutes - 1 hour depending on how strong you’d like your syrup - Using a fine mesh strainer, pour the mixture through the strainer into a container to store the syrup in to remove all the remaining lavender bits. - Keep the syrup on the counter for a week or in the fridge for up to a month to enjoy in tea or coffee!☕️
