yes, but you won't believe me that years ago my brother made two betty cooper dolls from Laugh in a story a Fella for Cinderella the first one shows her dress in her ballgown and second shows her dress in Rags

I know the publishers put out their books two months early or so, but it’s surprising to see the gang in bathing suits for a November issue! You might think they would try to line up the stories with the seasons like they do the Christmas issues. Not that I ever minded seeing B & V in swimsuits back in the day! LOL! I love these creative comic book store names! Also these comic books being issued way back in the 1960s look awesome. Collectors be taking serious care of them. Also noticing the Comics Code Authority stamp on the upper right hand corner of the covers. In 1954, the comic book publishers were ordered to abide by some rules concerning the content of their product and had to put that thingy up there or get boycotted. Dell and Gold Key insisted they weren't putting out material alleged to cause juvenile delinquents to commit violent crimes so they got exempt. Archie Comics didn't complain and so they stamped that corner and was actually the very last CB company to be putting the CCA insignia up there as it was becoming irrelevant. Plus I always thought one franchise ARCHIE ANDREWS inspired was the SAVED BY THE BELL program. I see a lot of similarities there.
