One of my first memories was watching the the days catch dropped on a concrete slab and people bidding ...I couldn't of been more than three years old .. Thank you, that truly was a wonder to watch

This documentary about Folkestone's Fishing History is a delight to watch and learn about. The filming and interviews capture the memories and activities of the fishing heritage - and, sadly, an industry in decline. This sort of social documentary, therefore, is essential before this diminishing generation of fishermen are no long around to recollect their lifestyle. Good wishes to the work of the Museum too. This is no place for owls. The council should shut the place down completely and the owner should do the right thing for the birds and re-home them rather than threatening to have them euthanised. The Facebook page is a catalogue of disasters. The birds are over crowded and being kept in terrible conditions.
