I mused be the first SGU fan to wake up from the cry pod! I wish Brad brought the team back together story wise would be easy for it to make sense logistically I’m sure it would be nightmare but also a dream come true 💫

The movie is currently showing on Netflix, I watched it again this week. Cruise is great in Science Fiction movies. When I first saw the Bubble ship it almost took my breath away. And the house with the pool! Brilliant movie.

I had the opportunity to visit the immersive exhibit the album art is based on. “Where the lights in my heart go” is a masterpiece from 95yr old Yayoi Kusama, and I’m flattered she’s a Deftones fan 😘

Just discovered this in 2024, and it’s awesome! They totally nail the look and feel of TOS. As Rodenberrys son says, this is CANON as far as he’s concerned, and he thinks his dad would’ve agreed.

This car is based on a cartoon about cars made in the 50s. That had a mother-in-law pod where the kids are in the Homer car.

Ned Beatty such a good actor. Corporate scion in Network to Lex Luthor’s stooge in Superman. He could do it all.

I just toured the 'ST Continues' set a few months ago. (Watched the TOS in 66' when I was twelve. My rocket club buddies and I were instant 'trekkies..before there was the term.) I sat in the Captain's chair (it only took me 58 years to do it!) I met Vic Mignogna while sitting in that chair. He's a very outgoing man. It was a wonderful tour..All the stories and people..They are moving the studio from King's Bay, GA. So I'm glad I had the chance to visit.

Wow, Jon Voight was incredible in the movie, the way he takes over after Burt has the compound fracture. Even his look when he sees Burt's silhouette with the bow and arrow was priceless, you could feel the tension by Jon's look on his face. Great acting throughout the movie, one of my faves. I would have like hear what Jon had to say on his scene climbing the side of the mountain and all that followed.

Yes leaving John voight out was a bad move. That being said I thought he had some really good questions. Asking Ronnie about the remakes of RoboCop and recall and some really good questions to Burt especially about boogie nights
