Who did this curry mixed lamb and mutton 😂obviously pinch of turmeric is missing 😂 and wat lemon zest is doing there🤣in classic mutton curry ? I died. For foreigners, in India , southern cooking style mostly using curry leaf as a key flavour! But northern dishes it might coriander leaf is major note , even each 50 km has huge differences ingredients. Like Nihari mutton , kadai gosh, mutton chaps by union hotel😂

I dont know why in previous seasons, the judges call out people for only cooking one specific cuisine. But they NEVER call out Jeremy for cooking filipino food all the time, even back in season 3.

For me, they were at least different each time - one week it's a Filipino dessert and in another week it's a Filipino fish meal. Some cuisines have a distinct flavor because of some common ingredient/herb/spice like how noodles are to Italian cuisine. With Filipino, I think it's very different across meals. But I do believe Jeremy had to be more diverse to win.

because Filipino food is versatile. it's not like other cuisines like italian/french or even south east asian flavors like thai/malaysian. Filipino food is very good at making what looks to be greasy food actually eat well. Adobo, Sinigang, spaghetti, these are filipino foods but you will be surprised by how different they can be. It also affects the flavor profile as while some asian cuisines like indian/thai emphasize the heat in their dishes, becoming hotter as a result, adobo and sinigang taste very different from each other even though they use vinegar as a base as Sinigang is more sour than adobo but still feels very refreshing.

Along with all the things said about Marco, both incredibly intimidating yet a giant, kind soul who is one of the greatest to ever do it, can we also appreciate the positive vibes of MasterChef Australia, with such warmth and support? Far cry from the pettiness and vindictiveness seen here in MasterChef US, where everyone is backstabbing and out for themselves with no support or kindness (or at least very sparse) Also want to give a moment to appreciate the vibes Marco gives in the kitchen (at least nowadays), he's tough and demanding but in a way that inspires and makes contestants want to push harder and make Marco proud, rather than putting them down and making them losing confidence in themselves

Very sad result at the end but at this point it’s literally the best of the best MC Canada has ever produced and somebody eventually has to go home. Can’t wait to see who actually wins this one!
