My brother works for a company customizing diesel trucks. He was working on a special truck for robert plant and Jimmie page. The truck would open up and it made a sort of vending platform to sell concert memorabilia. He was laying on his back working underneath the truck when his boss tapped him on his leg and said someone wanted to ask him some questions, he crawled out from underneath and there stood Jimmie page and robert plant. They wanted to know about what all the truck could do. He showed them everything he said they talked for over an hour. Before they left they shook his hand, signed autographs for him, took pictures with him and the truck. And told him they were very pleased with his work. He said they were both nice guys, and very friendly. He said Jimmie was more quiet than robert, very soft spoken, but very friendly. This happened back in the early 90s. I'm so frickin jealous.

I saw Robert Plant was walking around Sainsbury’s the other day looking as lost as everyone else. You see him so often around Kidderminster that no one bats an eyelid. Everyone just lets him get on with his day :)

Hedley Grange was my aunt's place where I spent a lot of holidays. We weren't allowed there when the 'pop bands' were there but I used to collect all the discarded guitar strings, plectrums etc. Never did get to meet him but I love telling the story!

Jimmy Page used to teach guitar but fans were ‘uncomfortable’ because he would have to get very close to teach them and I just thought it was funny because he’s from Led Zeppelin and he’s teaching people and some people are just picky about how they are approached when they are taught physically how to play an instrument. Jimmy Page thought ‘They just have to find what makes them different and develop it’.
