Im a newb and still in the body drag one hand stuff atm but im not playing for anymore lessons too expensive i have all the safty self launching and landing stuff down i got a 2015 12m ozone reo surf kite and a 2014 naish hero 140x143 twintip im 95kg should be okay i went 1 size bigger on the kite as the board is abit smaller than recommended beginner size

Looks to me like it's a mainly windsurfing beach. Even though, there's acres of space for everyone to enjoy. Know your etiquette on the water but don't assume that everyone knows it. If this number of windsurfers around you troubles you, if they were kite boarders it would be much more challenging for your level of experience. Have fun though and don't let it bother you. Everyone has been there😎

just make sure you have the skills to kite the conditions ,know the local rules eg are kites allowed in the area ,know your basic right of way rules ,port ,starboard. make sure you always look before turning,allow plenty of room for everyone and you should be cool 👍

Hey everyone! Quick question for the experienced riders out there: Did any of you also feel a bit nervous crossing paths with windsurfers when you were beginners? Just curious to know if it’s a common thing or just me! 😅

You achieve waterstarts and transition, I think you already passed the level not to anymore be qualified as beginner ! next step slided transitions and toeside. Enjoy the best sport ever created ;-O)

I think you are doing great for a noob. I’m probably the same level and I’m trying to park the kite more when riding, try not to grip the bar and feel the kite power and edge at the same time against the kite power. But you rode a good session.

I think someone else said it but put your hands in the center, 90% of the time, it will slow the kites movements as there is less leverage in the center. I like to put my backhand thumb over the entire center so its just on the uphand side. Not sure why I like this but I noticed a lot of pros(people way better than me) do that as well. But you are doing great!!! keep it up

Looks pretty good to me! It seems you want to fly the kite one-handed. Just grab the bar in the middle with your backhand and with your index-finger on one side or the center lines. Very useful for going more upwind. Also, you might want to move the kite a bit less by moving your hands closer together.
