Mic isn't a bad idea. I think with today's technological advancements, the ability to use an external power supply such as a wall wart. Of course the ability to utilize the usually readily available 12 volt power supply would be nice if enough resistance could be achieved in the power circuit.

how does it work with a real antenna with respect to swr and the amplifier? i presume you used a dummyload when testing.

I don’t care what anyone says these Rfx 29s are mean setups! The one I won in the raffle is a beast especially having it set up to run rfx on or off, actually opens up a whole new horizon running into different amps. Just always gotta be mindful and make sure you have rfx off running a low drive amp!! 😂😂 awesome job RC!!!
