This and its predecessor, the Gold Medal Match, are excellent for 223 progressive loading. Not having to top bullets with tiny 55gr bullets speeds up production by one third for me. The bullets can be dropped in while the ram is moving down.

I got one 6-36x56 MRAD late last year when they got a special sale. It's just WOW! a super nice scope. Glass is amazing and turret feels is impressive as well. The massive travel is remarkable. Tract is awesome. I love it. Just working to get another one! (Also running NF NX8, :Leupold MK5, Vortex Razor) but this one is my favorite now by far!!!

The guys at SnipersHide actually tested the tracking on many of the high end scopes and on more than one unit for most scope models. Kahles 525 and 624 tracked 100% all the time. I believe they were the only ones to do that. Vortex were the only ones to fail.

Hey..Good video. I have the Zeiss S3, the Zeiss S5, Atlon Cronus BTR Gen1 & Gen 2, Primary Arms PLX 6-30x56,>Leupold Mark 5HD 7-35x56, Athlon Eres, Tract Toric 4.5-30x56 and TRACT 4-25x50 , Kahles Kand my partner shoots a Valdada Recon 40mm main Tube. Now we have compared scopes at our ELR Matches.Most say the reticle on the NightForce ACTAR is too thick and cover up targets.They are tough and dependable. Of all the scopes I own the brest deal for the money is the TRACT 4-25x50. It has SCHOTT Glass and 47 Mils of ELEVATION and all for less than $1400. Its not as heavy bas the Zeiss S3 either and its almost twice a cheap ad the Zeiss S3. We had 5 guys look thru all these scopes at a match. Nearly all picked Zeiss S5 for clarity and Athlon Cronus BTR a close 2nd.For Elevation the S3 won by 2 Mils but blost on the ease of setting Zero . All in al the TRACT won on Elevation.Ease of Zero Stop Reset and And Pull Push Lockable Turetts.That was a big deal to most guys/ Thanks for a great Video.We mostly shoot on 20 power at 1500 yards to 4,000 yards.

Hello. Why did you choose the TRACT 4-25x50 model? After all, the Tract Toric 4.5-30x56 model seems more interesting in terms of characteristics? If it’s not difficult for you, explain your choice in a few words.
@TexasTrained

@@ВладимирХрамцов-555 One big reason I chose it. TRACT 4-25x50 . is Usable ELEVATION which is very important shooting ELP out to 2900 yards and beyond.

Nightforce is definitely more reliable and lighter and cheaper than this Zeiss. The new Tract Toric ELR version of this Zeiss LRP S3 with German Schott glass is $800 cheaper with a better warranty. I'd really like to see a long term followup review on this Zeiss LRP S3 in regards to reliability and warranty process and turn around time. Have you run the turrets repeatedly to their extreme ends to test repeatability?

How can you say NF is more reliable? You haven't probably touched or used a ziess s3. Just another broke fan boy.

@@dylanmatter1088 I have 4 Nightforce scopes and no problems with any of them. I'd like to see a long term followup review on the Zeiss LRP S3. There have been reports of teething issues with the 6-36x56 models where customers had to send theirs in for warranty several times already within less than a year. I bought the Vortex Razor Gen 3 6-36x56 instead of the LRP S3 and so far no issues and it's the newest one with the improved turrets. I'd consider buying a Zeiss LRP S3 6-36x56 if they fixed all of the reliability issues because it's cheaper than the Vortex and the 4-25x50 if it's better than the much cheaper Tract Toric ELR version and worth spending the extra $800 for.

For the price I dont see why youd buy this scope. I can quickly think of 5-6 optics off the top of my head that destroy this scope. No offense, its just way overpriced. The reticle is interesting. If u dial for elevation and hold for wind its actually pretty cool. A floating center dot wouldve been better compared to the + but its still interesting

You can pay $ or time. The number of shooters with more time than money grows every year and no one offers that customer a better package than Gunwerks. I have countless things I would rather be doing with my time than loading ammo to hunt. Gunwerks offers out of the box options that others can not compete with. If you don't have the money and have the time to burn then stick with what works for you.
