Hello. I do remember. Buy the way, fridge didn't arrive yet 😁. Thank you for subscription and I hope you'll enjoy. This year I decided to focus on Hartland Heritage Coast. Just went there last week and woow - why didn't I get there yet! So when you come next year, you'll have all the scouting job done and you'll know straight away, where to go. Stay warm and see you on your next holidays!

As you've found, the woman who was 'pontificating' was wrong. The Northern and western edges of the reservoir are not marked as Access Land, but the Southern and Eastern edges are Access Land and part of the National Park. This is where the public has the right to roam. Fishing rights are owned by the National Trust. So provided you stick to the Access Land you have the absolute right to be there. It's always handy to have an OS Map with you, or on your phone, so you can explain to self righteous people where the Access Land is.

Cześć. Dlatego wolałem polatać i sprawdzić. Pozdrowionka i Wesołych Świąt.

Great video, as always! And excellent drone videography at the end, too. That crinkly surface in the soil (near the beginning of the video) is called "solifluction" or in Polish, "soliflukcja". "Solifluction is a collective name for gradual processes in which a mass moves down a slope ("mass wasting") related to freeze-thaw activity." <--- that's what Wikipedia says! We get a fair amount of solifluction on the slopes of the chalk hills in the North and South Downs here in Sussex. Stegosaurus rocks! LOL! That's a good name for them!

A quick question: at the beginning of the video, you and the Scottish Explorer give a greeting in what sounds like the Polish language. I've consulted my "Polish for Dummies" book, but I can't find it. It sounds something like "Jak się miewasz" ("How are you?"), but not really. What is the actual greeting, and what does it mean in English? Thanks!
@polishexplorer8 ай бұрын
Hello. It's "jak się masz" and means "how are you". This wasn't chosen accidentally by me. As you can expect my "polglish" accent is quite often mentioned when people talk to me. When I came to UK in 2006, cinemas were just screening famous comedy by Sasha Baron Cohen. So, Borat was my first nick name at work and everybody used to shout "yagshemash" when they see me.
