My first car, same color, almost brand new car when I bought it, 15 - 16 year old kid. An older guy from my school borrowed this car when I was abroad, never ever got my White Fiat 850 back, never ever, gone.

se il motore non è bloccato mi sembra normale che in qualche modo giri, ma farci un giro su una macchina del genere la vedo dura, io l'avrei direttamente smontata per demolirla...

Very Cool!! I am now restoring an Alpino, a model with a friction roll that moves the rear tyre of any bicycle, here in Brazil. This motor is installed in the middle of the bicycle frame. Which country are you from? Thanks for your video.

If I remember correctly, in Argentina the Fiat 600 was called Seat 600. Greetings to you too!
@juansanchez351Күн бұрын
@@Ego.Reficio Creo que en España eran los Seat 600 de echo Seat (sociedad española de automóviles de turismo) ha lanzado al mercado muchos modelos "replicando" si se quiere a otras marcas de mayor envergadura 🇦🇷🤗

There were many such motors in post-WW2 Europe each with different levels of technical refinement most being very basic. By the second half of the 1950s, most fell by the way-side as living standards began to improve but from the technical perspective, I think they remain interesting.

That’s correct. I think like you about the interest these little engines have

You need a vaper hone cabinet.
@Ego.ReficioКүн бұрын
With it, the aluminum would come out too shiny and looking "like new". I preferred to leave the "vintage" look
@carlherrnstein9544Күн бұрын
@@Ego.Reficio Understandable, for the outside. For things like pistons, connecting rods, valves, combustion chambers, ect there's no better way I know of to remove carbon an gunk. Generally aluminum looks frosted after vapor honing an isn't shiny like chrome.

No, I don’t have the schematics of the pcb. However, the pcb is very simple as you can see, it wouldn’t be a problem to fix it

And all using low-cost and readily available tools, chemicals, and materials as well! Quite valuable to the broke among us. Would have loved to see/hear it run, better yet, mounted and functioning as intended. Thank you for making and posting this! One suggestion: on-screen graphic of generic description of what is shown- for example: “soft brush scrub with phosphoric acid-based cleaner” or “must use brass-bristled wire brush wheel to minimize scoring of cast aluminum”, or “kerosene, mineral spirits, or parts cleaner in ultrasonic cleaner” - would also be very helpful to the novice or beginner. Just a thought.

Thank you! The video does not end like this, there will be another video where I mount it on the bike that you see on the cover and start it. I didn’t put this part in this video because otherwise it would come out too long. For adding a more accurate description, thank you for the advice, but from the statistics of each video, the subtitles, and then the description of what I do /use, is seen very little
