I'm about to start my first HAED, which will be interesting and yes, the grey lines definitely wash out with a hot water soak. ⚘️

You did great! Your English is amazing, and your stitching is really beautiful! I am new back to cross stitch for one year now and it a new 'language for me.... the very first chart I saw that made me jump back in is Song Bird - the same one you are doing.... it is so beautiful! I finally found a fabric for the background as I need to do it without stitching that! I am in my 70's, and I have to think of what I want to get done before my stitching is done. There is a lady I watch - Nicola - Simply a Stitcher. She stitches her pieces in a different way, depending on the piece - sometimes in 10 x 10 st blocks, sometimes in a circle, sometimes straight, other times on a diagonal - you just never know. One of the fastest stitchers I've ever seen! I am slow - I only have 6 pieces going and I must finish one before I start one. I don't like hanging threads, so I stitch my threads out - if I"m on 25 count I use shorter threads. Look forward to seeing your next one!

Hi! Do use 2 strains on Letystitch! I made the same mistake on my 1st one and then saw several people advised to use 2 instead and their result looked the same beautiful. I'm going to continue with 2 strains
