Hi we are going from London to Buenos Aires and would love a quick chat so we know where to stay for Shabbat

Hi! If you're wanting to go to shul then I would recommend identifying a shul first and using that as a starting point. There are Chabad houses in different neighbourhoods so if you're open to going to one for shul, you could also have meals there. I would recommend looking into staying in Recoleta (you can walk to some touristy sites there on shabbat), Belgrano or Palermo Viejo (really nice to walk around and more of a 'local' experience), or Once (the Golders Green of Buenos Aires, not a great area but useful for kosher food and plenty of shuls around). Palermo Soho is vibrant and trendy but I don't know what's there for Shabbat. If you're not so fussed about shul and have a large budget then the Alvear Icon hotel has 2 kosher restaurants and a lovely spa & pool. If you would like specific shul recommendations, let me know what 'vibe' would suit you and I can ask around for you. I hope that's helpful!

@@1211ninjaa hi thanks so much for all that info. Honestly the Icon is probably not for us as we would rather be more around a community. That said we won’t be in BA long so we are trying to choose a place which has some community and is also a good place to walk around so we don’t waste our time in a suburb like we do in London if that makes sense

So interesting to see how invested the Jewish are with food, but not with their terrorist state!

Buenisimo! Algúna recomendación para Bariloche?
@1211ninjaa8 ай бұрын
Buen viaje! 😃

I’m in Peru now. Getting kosher food from Chabad can’t wait to come to Argentina

Have an amazing time in Peru and Argentina! I think some of the places mentioned in the video may have closed down during the pandemic so have a quick Google before checking them out! There are lots of Chabad families in Buenos Aires - I’d recommend Recoleta if you want a lovely shabbat meal!

Mazel tov on those amazing kosher dishes. Love there plates. By the way there is a huge Kosher seen in Guatemala. It has more Synagauges than most all spanish countries. Zyga Zunt on your travels. Shalom and G-d bless. It looks delicious.

It would be awesome to visit Guatemala some time! I've heard some wonderful things about the community there from friends who've visited.

What the fuck are you talking about? Alone in Buenos Aires there are more synagogues than in the whole of LATAM, in fact the only rabbinical schools of the spanish speaking world are located in Argentina
