2013 indie vibe. Nostalgic

This demo was so amazing! I played as much of it as I could so I can say a bit about it. All the new visual stuff is fantastic, and the story is better explained than it used to be. Weefager stills controls great, getting new troopers is still awesome as usual, and the balloon sign guys are definitely a neat touch. I do wish they would just float away instead of having them tell you to have a good trip or something along those lines once their usefulness has expended. The game also performed better. Not once did it crash, and I played that demo for quite the amount of time. I notice key differences between the old demo and the new demo that I would like to point out: * Enemies and Objects do respawn now. I am not sure on what basis they respawn, but the original demo had them gone for good besides certain objects like Batteries and such. * Weefager starts out weaker, he does not have his full kit, and he has to earn his abilities now. His ether meter also has a slower recovery rate. * There is a pause menu, but at the expense of the utility menu where you can stuff your troopers into your bag or create a checkpoint. * You can access the Steox ship, but not within the main area (at least not to my knowledge). * There is now a proper tutorial for the game that establishes the controls, states the directive, and introduces you to the mechanics of the game. All of these new changes, besides the absence of the utility menu, are good changes in my eyes. If I had to assume, the utility menu is something you earn later into the game at a point inaccessible to players as of yet. I feel that there should be a way to access the Steox ship again when you land in the main area so you can see the Steox ship members you rescue throughout the game. Also, I think Puffy troopers should have some sort of ability, maybe like contact damage if not already. Weefager is shaping up to be an awesome, legendary game! It will be one of the greatest things to see it release. I wish you best luck, because this game releasing will be good for everyone!
