You guys need to consider that there are some breeders in the United States that do get their medical in the border from the United States and Mexico border and it’s cheaper for us to get C-sections up there than it is in the United States. For example, I can get a C-section for my dog for $300 versus in the US, it’s about $5000-$10,000

The big trouble is SENASA- SERVICIO NACIONAL DE SANIDAD AGRARIA DEL PERU (The main authority which regulates the import or export of animals in Peru) and They are not currently doing the endorsement of the CDC form or the signature by a government veterinarian. The worse - case scenario from the information I got from the transportation companies is that potentially the CDC form could be rejected at the port of entry and the owner has to pay the quarantine of the animal that would cost more than 4000 USD aside of the other expenses. So, the best advice is waiting for some information before the pet is able to travel

I am currently trying to transport my pet to the US from Peru, She has the titer rabies test done by a accredited laboratory in the US but I finally communicate with a pet relocator company to get some information.

I'm facing a major issue with contamination during qPCR at work. For the last 6 runs, my NTC has been showing a strong curve, which shouldn’t be happening. I’ve tried various troubleshooting steps, including purchasing three different sets of new probes and primers, and even quantified the water used as NTC (with a Qubit reading of <2.0ng/ml). I also ran my assay in a neighbouring lab but encountered the same problem. I’m running a multiplex assay, and the issue specifically affects two of my three probes (FAM and HEX), which are producing the curves in the NTC. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
