That was great. We didn't need a full hour and half sequel, just this. A fun, fifteen minute short.

A true megamind sequel

If anyone can answer this, I’d appreciate it, because there’s one thing in this short film I don’t understand. How come at 2:20, Minion gets irritated as soon as Megamind says to only use the death ray for barbecuing?

2011 as much as this is fun to watch I kinda wish it had a longer running time. 2024 actually 15 minutes is fine.

those 12 minutes were better than the 85 of the sequel. This speaks volumes about how shit the new one was.

Megamind 2 is so terrible, that the franchise should've ended here. Amazing short and sweet film

Things that I love about this short film: - Callbacks to the original film such as Megamind’s mispronunciation of certain words. Brought back spee-ider, Metrocity and ollo. Now at first, I didn’t know spee-ider was a mispronunciation of his, because when Roxanne pointed it out in his evil lair while kidnapped, Megamind was like “the spider?” pronouncing it correctly, then I thought he said spee-ider just to make it sound like a more cooler and eviler way to say the word. I love how they also added new mispronunciations such as, jerriage (garage), programmed (I think), rubbot and boingo. I also love how this short film delivers a central theme or message to the audience, which is to stop trying to be somebody else and just be yourself. This is present here, however, this isn’t the first time Megamind tried to be Metro Man, as he disguised himself as Metro Man to face off against Tighten. Yeah, it was to scare him, but still, I love that little detail
