I was there that day and by chance, I happened to get seated in the front row. As a guitarist, I was in heaven. Thank you so much for sharing this and allowing me to experience it again!

With that hair and jumpsuit he looks like that one teacher astronaut from the 80s Challenger disaster. Christa McCauliffe i think was her name.

The best moment was at 4:57 - someone in the production office seems to have really sealed that envelope, truly hermetically sealed. Loved this bit.

Will you PLEASE be as kind as to put, from this same dated "Tonight Show," the Johnny Carson joke about Jim and Tammy Faye Baker being down to two million dollars and Johnny said, "One visit from the Avon lady and they'll be broke!" He delivered this joke during the monologue in the first part of the show! I'm old enough to tell you I watched "The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson" while it was on NBC every weeknight at 11:30 pm EST!!!! What say, prime time! Thank you VERY MUCH!!!!

This was the re-do of the skit they tried a couple weeks before when Johnny's mustache came loose and it cracked him and Teresa up so much where Johnny ended up saying "Ah screw it!" and ended the skit.

Teresa Ganzel. She was the final Matinee Lady. After Carol Wayne died, Danuta Wesley took over, but it didn't go over. Teresa was good.
