I haven't seen Tear Water Oracle but now all I can think is "wow I want to put that with Transient Light Tarot so badly" because the colours are *perfect.* Broadbent Sisters has been on my wishlist a few times; it's a cool one (also a limited palette fan clearly) and I'm totally in a 'moody blue decks' moment over here for winter. I don't know that I realized until this moment how beautiful Love Oracle of Eden is, wow 😍those photos just feel so loving and so special. The Earthbound Oracle was the first oracle deck I ever owned, and the only one I owned for over a year. I don't see it around much these days but it's such a good one.

Also, the Lubanko tarot is incredible. I had the chance to purchase when it wasn’t sold out and trying to behave myself decided to pass and of course I’m kicking myself in the ass. I am hoping being mass market that there aren’t significant changes because that deck is meant to be exactly how it is. I feel by censoring cards, it would lose the essence and profound energy that deck is made up of. I may purchase second hand indie if the price isn’t too bad because I honestly want to work with that deck as is, at its rawest, no tweaking or adjusting. My novella length comment is just about done, lol.

Ok I absolutely want next world tarot. Numinous has been on my radar and deck list for a bit, as with a lot of decks I feel like I’ll purchase a deck or two from my wish list but add 20 more new to me ones lol. I totally relate to the anxious nail biting. The ONLY reason I've been able to break it is because of TarotTube - that's it. 😅 I've never seen the Begin Oracle nor the Tearwater Oracle, and I love them! I think we have really similar tastes in oracles. Iris Oracle is in my cart right now, but historically, I don't use decks with pastels often... but I love the unique keywords. It might be one of my Tarot exceptions. I had so many chances to get Dessert Illuminations when it was indie, but I was a Tarot noob and did not. 😭 BUT that's okay - it's made waiting for the MM release even more exciting. It's my most anticipated pre-order of all time. 💖 I love seeing so much love for Somnia Tarot. Love all this! I really love your take on the Trickster's Journey being queer. That really makes me see it in a new light. One thought on the "you chose this life..." In Buddhism there is this concept of "voluntarily assuming one's own karma" that (to boil down a complex concept into a nutshell) more or less means that we choose to be born into a certain life condition in order to work on certain karmic lessons in this life time. How it is not a "you chose this so it's your fault" is that essentially through self-reflection/meditation/chanting/etc, we can expedite our karma in this life time to advance our journey to enlightenment. This sect of buddhist thought also believes that enlightenment is not in some future lifetime, but that we need to create "Nirvana" in this lifetime. So each lifetime becomes a challenge to obtain Enlightenment etc. Where/how this can be really empowering is can help shift "why me?!" thinking to making sense of why there might be recurring struggles and how to unpack them. This is how I often use tarot...to examine the karmic patterns. Because karma is unknowable, we only know it through its effects and even then we do not know what/where the effect is originating. I know that is not exactly what you were talking about, but thought I'd share/mention!
