I think the brewer used to work at The Kernel who do great saisons as well so he should know his stuff. Love a saison so will try and get this one.

I remember having owd Rodger gravity served on cask back in the late 90s ,was a surperb beer!

Good choice. They are doing a whole series of Pale Ales with New Zealand hops I recommend. Drinking their dark Beers box for Christmas atm. The Brown Ale I have is delicious- sticky brown treacle.

Kernal still a if you know you know brewery . Quality craft beer at reasonable pricing.

Need to go to Arbors tap room next time I go down to brizz, I always pass the up when I go down for some reason

I can only assume the fact this beer is ‘half’ decent, is down to Floc’s involvement, because NM beers have been awful this year (and I include the more expensive, NM website offerings too). There’s no fucking need for Maltodextrin in beers either, breweries should be forced to list every single ingredient. Proper Bitter’s FTW 👌🏻

I’ve had a few cans of this and first can I thought was pretty good for supermarket beer. Second can i thought was bang average. It’s a fairly hoppy supermarket beer without adjuncts. When paying like 11 quid for 4 cans in Tesco you can’t complain too much

I remember drinking one of those dark English beers when I was a kid. It's like drinking Coca-Cola. Unfortunately I don't live in England anymore and I cannot easily find these dark english beers around here.

Poured like a Guinness Original..Then tasted like a recycled ♻️ one..

I was excited to try this one, but I found it a bit disappointing. It’s available in Morrisons. Suppose it’s average supermarket fodder. £3.75 for a 7% ipa without any adjuncts…. Reasonable. I may have to give it a try on a fresh palette.
