1:06 I love this part because it happens so quick but it has so much meaning. The man who has been pulling her around falls to his knees, and for a moment, despite how tense their relationship has been, she reaches out to comfort him. But in a fit of rage he shoves her away as if to say "I don't need your help, I'm not weak" despite being on his knees in a place where he clearly needs it. It shows how there's not a villain in these kinds of toxic relationships, both sides are hurting and subsequently end up hurting each other. He knows he needs her but he believes this to be a weakness, causing him to see her every attempt to help as if she were mocking him. She on the other hand, desperately wants to nurture him, but because he reacts so negatively to it, she feels as if she is failing him, leading to that need to help only increasing while her faith in herself decreases. At least that's what I saw, interpretive dance is an art, and art is not meant to have one meaning. I sincerely hope you have a different opinion, because then its all yours, your own view of the world.

2:02 Also this part. I love the implication that they paused, realized their relationship wasn't working like this. So they momentarily step back then return to try it over again, walking over a tightrope towards each other due to the tension. It's beautiful the way they both realized that what's happening can't go on but still both want to make an effort. But I also love how it's realistic in the way they don't end up figuring it out after returning. How they end up getting back into the toxic push and pull of each other, because its not like the movies, enemies to lovers is not much more than a trope and its near impossible to find stability in the same person you found so much tension with.

I’m going through some of the most darkest moments in my life. Depression is an understatement. I don’t think I’ve smiled in three years until now. Josh in my opinion is the best dancer I’ve ever seen period. The passion he has for dance is visible through the window of his eyes. Every move and gesture is meticulously crafted to the point where he becomes one with his vision and his performance becomes art in the most beautiful fashion. Thanks for uplifting my spirit Josh. I’m a Chicago native and I feel blessed that we share the same home town. I’m a bit older but when I grow up I want to be just like you 🫶🏻

Watched the first time this came out. Still watching it to this day. Beautifully done. They’re both so amazingly talented. It’s wild how my life actually told this story of having to constantly fight to get out of the grips of people trying to pull you down and keep you small. NEVER SETTLE AND KEEP FIGHTING. You are seen. You are heard. You will triumph over all of those things. Don’t give up. 😘
