Times are going to get tough and chicken feed will soon double every few weeks when hyperinflation kicks in, so the idea is to recycle and feed scraps to feed the worms and able to feed the worms to the chickens for as little cost as possible

I started a new compost bin 1 weeks ago, I placed a net with 1 cm mesh in the base of the soil. Do you think I should add a couple of earthworms to the compost or will they be attracted by the soil and manage to enter the composter? Are they able to climb from the ground to the pile of material inside a composter?

Why bother 🤷‍♀️ It’s processed McDonald’s for worms. It only gives a short term fattening effect that actually constipates your worms until it exits their digestive tract. Worms need and feed off microorganisms 🦠 chicken feed and all these “worm chow” don’t encourage any of that. Also you end up with a bin full of processed 💩 instead of quality microbial rich casting 🪱 It’s a complete waste of money 🤦‍♀️ and a complete rip off. 🪱💕🥦🍎🥕 🌱

Nice - But what I really want to find is a video on how to convert a drop leaf to a fixed table using the original top. I think drop leaves are dumb for most dinning tables as you cant sit at the ends. How can you attach them permanently to make a fixed table. No videos on that if you would like to do one;-)

My bin is lapping up a even mixture of boiled white rice and oats with a few tablespoons of brown sugar.

Interesting. Would any worms (surface / top soil worms) caught in this baited manner be suitable to use as composting worms? I'm in South America. No red wrigglers etc available to order. Have heavy clay soil yard that must be amended to grow veggies and buying soil is crazy expensive. Thanks for video and more info!

I bought chicken crumbles also for my red wigglers but it seems to attract mites and when i find lil blocks of crumbles its always infested with Mites! How do ya prevent that?
