Wow, no talk of cleaning up the klister? That stuff is nasty. When you have a even a little bit on your finger, it seems to get on everything, sticky and really hard to clean off of fabrics. Some of the most fun I’ve had skiing is in klister conditions, you just have to be careful with it. With all the new glide and kick products on the market, this subject is only getting more and more complicated. This was a good guide to the traditional products, the way things have been done for decades.

Thank you so much Steven. This is my favorite video. You are always welcome to come back again if you want to help again. We are always looking for volunteers. The reason our family prefers to do this 35 mile trip is for the sheep dogs. We don't want to leave any behind so my mom always preferred to walk with the sheep. It's a two day trip with 1 night of camping.

Too complicated. I request basic info for intermediate (or beginner) skiers not racing. Something like grab an old iron, put on paraffin, scrape a little bit off, go skiing. The extra wax will abrade off in 5 or 10 minutes. Good enough.

What I would do since I don’t have much skill is I would make some high moccasins and put some simple leather heel soles on them as then I put a thick leather lining on the inside that would keep it stiff

This was a beautiful master class. I have a pair of cowboy boots that are 25 years old and they look brand-new. I think they are Factory boots, but I grant you I wore them five years and then I let them set for 3 then wore them a few times . I didn't wear them daily. They are beautiful black shiny. I have another pair of Charlie 1 horse boots Factory I'm sure. Cost three times as much and feel like crap. I well then once in 8 years. They're pretty but that's it
