How deep are you fishing the klickitat? been wanting to try it for a while but its an 8hr round trip for me

Man 8 hrs that’s a long drive. The depth is variable depending on where you are standing. I fish anywhere from 5ft in the shallow water to 14 ft in the deeper sections. It’s not too snaggy so just keep going deeper until your bobber lays over then come up a ft or two. That’s about all I can say without being there to tell you . Good luck and the scenery alone is worth the drive. Bucket list river for sure.
