How do you like to place em when there’s little to no wind? Maybe a slight breeze every now a then?

What I try to do on a morning like that is worry about where the sun is and get the sun to my back and try to get as much motion in the decoys as possible like mojos, jerk rigs, and ripplers. If that’s not working let the ducks tell you where the want to land, watch them and where they are finishing is where you need to move your decoy spread to. So don’t be afraid to move your decoys and good luck

Could you run the U or V facing to the right/left depending on the wind in place of the J?

I’ve never tried that but If you do I would get them close to blind to give you a better shot
