I flash the biker wave to anything on two or three wheels. Moped, scooter, trike, motorcycle - don't care. I don't care if you wave back or not - this is my acknowledging you. I see you and wish you a safe ride. If I can't wave - in a corner, shifting, etc, I will give a nod, a bit drawn out and slow, so you can see it's a nod, not a road bump moving my bobble head, I mean helmet head. If you are tootling around in my area and see a Rebel 500 being ridden by someone with holographic decal laden helmet and red and black flannel, with a purple and teal colored bow on the back, wave and I'll wave back!

Been in a riding rut lately as well. Living in a large metro area means a lot of traffic most times, a handful of decent riding routes if you don't want to ride far, and at least 1-2 hours to escape traffic and get to anywhere resembling scenic or enjoyable, and even then, what's nearby doesn't compare to what you have in your neck of the woods. Anyway, there's only so many times in a row I can ride the same roads before it loses its charm. And we all go through ups and downs in life. You don't owe us internet strangers a damned thing. Do what you enjoy, and when making YT videos stops being enjoyable, a simple goodbye is more than what we deserve.

We call it wind therapy and yes it does help. I find time most days to get on one of my bikes even if it is just for a short distance. While I'm retired my wife has three more years to go. We take one of her days off and just ride somewhere for lunch. We have logged over 200 miles on some of those lunch trips. We get back and feel so much better. In dealing with the hustle and bustle of life, remember to make time for yourself -- take that tip from an old dude who has been around for a while. 😉

She hates going across the Mackinaw bridge and down our 2 track to camp. Parts of our 2 track the sportster scrapes ground. It's low to the ground. Most everything is loaded on to my bike.
