That's actually not correct. That will create a "cutting head" and will quickly cut your fly line. You should feed the fly line into the mono loop and then pull the mono back through the fly line loop. Any plan to make more of these? I'm familiar with handguns and rifles, but I can't seem to wrap my head around shotguns. For example, I've heard different gauges don't really equate to different lethality (ie 12 and 16 ga shoot the same velocity) but a difference in shot weight.

You hooked me when I saw a perfectly fried piece of fish in the thumbnail, and reeled me in me at COD. KUDOS, I want fish now and only cod will do. Good thing I just happen to have some..... I consider it to be one of the finest eating fish.

Thanks for the review. What shot size is recommended for mallards, divers and geese? Most decoy and passing shots.

@@jimdrechsel3611 For puddle ducks and divers I use anything from #6s-#2s. Later in the season, I usually go to the bigger end of the spectrum. My favorite is #3s for ducks. For geese is exclusively use #2s or BB.
