Hi Vadym, I see you’ve been playing a lor of tournaments. Would you please share how you find tournaments information?
@VadymKrevsАй бұрын
Hi there. All tournaments sanctioned by Table Tennis England (TTE) are here www.tabletennisengland.co.uk/events/. However, thanks to the recent controversial competition "review" by TTE , there are now plenty of "unsanctioned" tournaments. If you're over-40, one can join the VETTS organization (www.vetts.org.uk/), and play in their masters and ratings tournaments. TableTennis365 are now running Honey Bee and Match Point tournaments (www.tabletennis365.com/HoneyBeeSeries/Pages/Honey_Bee_Series and also facebook.com/groups/396625684494214/). These are also advertized on Facebook. There are also very popular Hereford Table Tennis tournaments - see facebook.com/groups/1973935872854645/).

Boy oh boy this is an impossible match, my all time two favourite Table Tennis players playing each other. Who wins, who loses, i don't want either scenario, why cant there be a draw. Both strong attacking looping players how will it play out. The Ice-Man kicks of the attacks while Guy playing tactically blocks and blocks some-more ending in a win for the attacking Ice-Man.

The ice-Man 2 games down against a very agile competitor then gives a master class in looping topspin attack to takes the 3rd, keeping him in the fight then takes then 4th with ease. Game and then 5 to take the Win and Match...Whoopee..

A tough battle and its close but sadly the Ice-man and his partner Eren the Hammer didn't quite make it this time, but then tomorrow is another day.

The ice-Man loses the first, score is Game 2. The 2nd game is more even but the Ice-Man still loses just. Keeping Ice cold calm wins the 3rd its tight but The Ice-Man takes the win and again in the 4th having gone to Deuce twice. Then tragically loses it in the 5th. Oh well onward and upwards.

Wow that was an awesome match between the Ice-Man and a tactical genius by a charming wall of a man that knows he is never going to win on footwork, so plays a clever game of blocking interspersed with an occasional wicked backhand on what looks like to be either a very dead (anti-spin) or long pimps rubber (I couldn't quite see on my screen). However the Ice-Man came back with a vengeance to win. Congratulations.

@jameshamilton6096 Yeah, I was in real trouble after the first game. One thing for sure, Andrew has a killer bh drive, which I had no answer for, and had to avoid it for the rest of the match.

The Ice Man takes it in the final game 3 to 2 against a surprisingly difficult wryly anti spin player with short jagged backhand shots that impedes his opponents getting into any type of rhythm. Then every once and a while out of nowhere whacking a ballistic forehand loop completely out of character to his back-hand play. A very interesting tactical match
