Appreciate what you do on here Jay. Hello from unfriendly 2a Connecticut. I just picked this up preowned at a great Black Friday sale from a local gun store here in CT. any follow up on your experience, optics, holsters, I'd love to know. Thanks again sir.

i don't know?.. to me, it all depends on why your buying these weapons... me personally, I buy my firearms according to my purpose, which is Training. so i don't own many... i would never have a collection of hand guns because TO ME its a waste of money... i would rather master my Glock 17 before i would even consider buying another hand gun... i would have to be sick of shoot it kind of deal... im talking every time i raise the iron sight up to my target , i know exactly where my round is going, weather im standing still or moving while engaging. no hesitation from the draw. Point and have that natural feel of aim.. so thats why i own 3 hand guns, 2 AR's, one shotgun. like i said... TO ME IT ALL DEPENDS ON YOUR PURPOSE. Now ammo!.. floor to ceiling baby..lmao

I bought 4 Savior bags. 2 pistol bags & 2 shorty rifle bags. I gifted one of the rifle bags to someone & they loved it. I have nothing but positive experiences with my Savior Equipment bags will be buying more in the future for sure.

Many disagree with him, but he makes very valid points. I have spent 10s of thousands in guns. I have so many I can't even count them. I justified it by finding guns or building them out to fill every specific purpose. I can manage to get to the range about once a month, and I am proficient with all of them but a master with none of them. I listened to the guntubers out there telling me about the hottest new thing and spent a ton of money. Reality is you can do just fine with a good GP AR, a tricked out 9mm pistol, and a small reliable carry piece. Set up your gear, train, shoot matches and have all your bases covered. No issues being a collector but if your goal is defense, three is all you need. I'm going to go through mine soon and clearing out some inventory for this reason. Let's face it. Grandpa defended his home and put food on the table with the same old gun and he was a master with that thing.

I agree with you brother but I got 4 sons so I have to have 5 handguns 5 AR’s 5 shotguns and you got it have a PCC soooo 5 of them. And I don’t think anyone will disagree that you have to have one of each as a backup in case one of the primary go down and there you have it 😊

I agree. Purchase one gun. Use it for at least once a month for two years. Master the gun and your knowledge of it before purchasing another gun. As they say, fear the man with one gun because he knows how to use that gun properly.

I see the comments here and yeah I chuckle but he’s actually right. The first time I pick up another brand again I feel less proficient because what you need is continuity. 365 spungy trigger and lack of wall sucks. Canick I love and might make them my go to. I work with a Glock. And my old personal favs are M&P 2.0 so I just want to be a master of one grip angle and one trigger. For summer EDC I juggle 365, Canik MC9 and that’s no bueno. If only someone had a true improvement on that 365 trigger cuz I love the size without having to go to the new Bodyguard 2.0.

Not good enough... I have a range gun, a single home intruder gun, a gun for multiple intruders, a gun incase society falls apart and people try to swarm my property, a gun in case I need to join a militia, a gun for a zombie apocalypse, a gun for white tail deer gun, an elk gun, a moose gun, a brown bear gun, a black bear gun, a hog gun, a gun for putting down my bulls in case they get out of the pen and are attacking people, a bird gun, a small animal gun, a gun for fishing (you never know)... Then I also need to place my protection guns in different hiding spots around the house so I need multiple options for each use case in different spaces... I was a cop and I found 9mm bullets that got stopped by thick leather jackets... never seen a 40cal bullet stopped by anything short of a wall... I have 9mm's as shtf guns in case I need to share other people's ammo. "Be prepared" was the scout motto lol.

How do I get qualified and transport my firearm to the shooting course in the process of getting carry permit
@matthewhurt26083 күн бұрын
No such thing as too many guns. Your issue is where you live. I don’t have to ask permission to buy a gun. You seem to just have pistols. I have pistols and I build rifles. My kids have their own guns. I normally take about 6 rifles and maybe 4 pistols and an ammo can of each caliber that I plan to shoot. You do buy ammo in bulk right? I don’t go to a range, I go to my parent’s house and shoot on their property or to my friend’s place and do the same. That’s just how we do it in the south.
@2amichaelj3 күн бұрын
Am I the only one slogging a case of 12+ pistols and 3-4 rifles every range trip? I personally need a rifle for every pistol and a pistol for every rifle which means if I buy one, I buy two. Sometimes it's two pistols but then I have to buy 2 rifles. It's a sickness.

You already have a collection; however, you need to add a 1911, and a revolver. A Wilson Combat or Ed brown 1911. A Smith &Wesson 686 Revolver.

Agree with most of this, especially the one caliber commitment. I sold my 1911 .45 and now only have 9mm handguns (4), except for my .22 plinker. Five is my limit, so I have to sell one if before I buy a new one. My vintage and pristine Browning Hi-Power (Belgium origin) is a collectable and will be passed on to my son. Everything else is expendable.

I have 4: two for home defense (his/hers), one for carry, and one for strictly range fun.
