Why would the trace tangle when pulling it out of the water after a bite?

I would say all depends on how long the hook snoot is. In the case of using a gummy stop on the top hook and you hook a fish on the bottom hook, it should not tangle. In the case of river fishing and / or fishing in a current, this could also be a problem. Will definitely have a look into this. Thanks for dropping a comment. Blessings 🙌
