We should have this in the uk instead of HS2 less impact on the ground and a lot more environmental friendly

I had the opportunity to travel on that train, it is good to live the experience, but if you are a tourist and you like to admire the wonderful Japanese landscapes, then that train is not for you, everything goes so fast that as a tourist you can not see or observe the natural beauties of the Japanese countryside.

Pollution by railing . Pollution by CO. It have to be underground with use of hydrogen . Magnetic field project too strong influence on human health . Not cost effective . Too complicated to build . the only way for high speed ------> Provided model on the button of this avatar . In Russia it already exist

Lüge ! Das ist nicht der schnellste Zug der Welt ! Der französische TGV hat bereits eine Rekordgeschwindigkeit von über 570 km/h erreicht.
@Andreas-uu8sm4 күн бұрын
Aber nicht im Regelbetrieb! Das was Du ansprichst war eine Testfahrt mit diversen Anpassungen am Zug und Oberleitung! Nur so konnte der TGV die Geschwindigkeit erreichen!

I want to see maglevs be built here in North America, and going for longer distances (say, from New York City to Los Angeles or from Toronto to Vancouver.)

3:52 I like the fact that they have airport security checks before you even get to check your tickets, before going onto the platform - do they have armed police and Milltary or security there? It’s something that we desperately need here in the U.K. although we have the British Transport Police, they are not routinely and visibly armed, which would make me feel far safer when travelling and would deter luggage thieves - also in the stations and on platforms, is English widely spoken? I’d really struggle with the language

Sorry for the late reply! All train and subway stations have security personnel, so safety isn't a huge issue. Just avoid bringing flammable or explosive items, like large amounts of alcohol or bug spray, since those will get confiscated at the station. If you have those, it's better to take a bus or taxi. In China, because of its size and wealth gap, not all stations widely use English, but in major cities like Beijing and Shanghai, especially on the line to the airport, there are plenty of English-speaking staff to help you.

Will one of these rail companies please take over direct and complete control of the U.K. railways already? - our rail network is a complete disaster here in the U.K. and an external takeover is the only solution

The old, good German Transrapid. There still exist the first test rail in northern Germany. But is closed since a heavy accident.
It's been going for decades. Meanwhile in London the Heathrow airport express goes for more than double the ticket price and less than half the speed.

They lowered the top speed from 431km/h to 300km/h many years ago to reduce wear and tear on the train.
