Make sure to request access on RC 1's store page if you haven't already. It was about two weeks of waiting before I got access, although it might be different for everyone.

The centerline of the sled has blocks of helium above the CoG and heavy blocks below it. They counteract each other to self-right the sled.

You can already build a separate robot in the bay and control it remotely if you wire its parts to your pilot seat. The next update, they will be adding an explosive block that detonates like a mine. Once that's out you can technically create one.

Thanks. I think a lot of people are just experimenting with the physics since the game is just a sandbox at this point. However, I also want to try things that could be feasibly used in a pvp setting, whenever that occurs. I plan to rebuild this one into a more sleek design anyways.

If I do this again, I'll probably use more nameplates so that the words appear larger. It looks okay at 720p and up, but at 480p I could barely read anything myself. Next chance I get, I'm going to try this again but with small vehicles, and some other block patterns I can think of. I'm curious if large blocks will hold up better if there is a layer of smaller blocks holding it together.

They released a hot fix earlier today that reduced damage done by the environment, and increased the structural strength of the heavy cube. Still, I was surprised that all I lost was a wheel after that drop. I think it's the pistons that are just noisy in general. Thanks for watching.

Absolutely. It would depend on what type of game modes the devs give us to see if they'd be actually useful.

There are enough joints and logic parts that I'm sure some wizard will eventually come up with a transformer, but we'll need more CPU and stronger material types before that happens.

Yes, LMB/RMB for each side. Spacebar actuates the plow. I'm assuming that either we'll get dedicated melee weapons for this kind of purpose, or there will be a variety of sturdier material types and they're just letting us build with plywood for the demo.

@@MALCode_A799 The results certainly came out cool. ^_^ The plywood reference betrays frustration - and I do not blame you! ^_^ It certainly is an issue and I did dedicate a thread to trying to mitigate such issues on the RC2 discord. In truth I think that I touch upon enough things to 90+% resolve the issue. We'll have to see what Freejam decides though - as it is not like there wouldn't be computational (and consequent performance) costs. ^_^

I use a motor joint for the parts I want to spin and wire it to LMB in the pilot seat.

Just this one gun eats up all the weapon CPU, so not at the moment.

Thanks. Because it breaks lock and is on a ten second cooldown, the ghost module is invaluable if you're going to gun down seeker planes.
