You are a life saver, mainly, my husband's life, but still a life saver 😂... I've had an old timers pressure cooker forever. Sure I had to keep track of the pressure button, for a lack of a better description. He took it upon himself to buy a replacement. He had been asking me all sorts of cooking questions, like do I use a slow cooker, I said yes, it's what you know as a crock pot😊, and things of that sort... it was our anniversary yesterday and I wanted to make him pork chop pot roast of sorts, I'm looking all over my kitchen and dining room, and back porch and he finally asks me what ami looking for, so I tell him, to which he answers, I threw it away the last time you used it. I obviously was very angry 😠 😡 👿 about this and had quite a few choice words to say to him. He then hands me my anniversary present and says, I think this should be able to get me back into the house/back porch. I told him unless it was a brand new pressure cooker he was in for a cold night....so, I opened the present and he says, not only is it a pressure cooker, it's also a crock pot and like 16 other pans in one pot, you're welcome 😂. In his hurry to repackage the gift, he threw out the instruction booklet and that's when I came upon your video. Saved his life for sure!😅😂 thank you so much

Does it teach them how to diagram if they haven't in the past? We are using Fix It but I am wanting to switch to this. However, they haven't learned diagramming so I don't know if this would work.

Ok so does it cover science and social studies content? You only showed one book for each. So only one book all year for SS and science ??

I see that my father's world uses Singapore, is there a reason you chose to use Saxon? Also, do you use Saxon 1 in kindergarten or first? We tried it for kindergarten and my daughter hates the drill sheets and flash cards etc. Also, do you feel that my father's world provides a strong foundation in reading? Thanks!

Hey there, just starting home schooling and we went with my father’s world and WOW spelling power is making my head spin! Haven’t even fully gotten into it yet and I’m confident we won’t be using it again.

How long does it each subject take? And do you think spelling can be done independently?

I just received their grammar, writing and spelling level 3 course books. I was a little disappointed that they do not flip open at the top for ease of writing, but we'll make it work.

Can i apply the lesson from winning with writing to another literature based history curriculum? So maybe customizing the promots to address topics with other content?

I don’t have a “Portfolio” because everything is in her workbooks other than math. Is this acceptable?

Which level should we begin? My daughter is currently grade 7. We tried IEW but that was not a good fit. She does love Fix It Grammar. We are still on the hunt for a good writing program she can use independently. Thank you.

I have an older student that is really really struggles with grammar and is therefore behind. Any tips on which level to choose for her?

Spelling Power is great for the word lists, not so much for the activities and the instructional strategies included in the book. If you really know how to simplify spelling instruction, you could do without all the fluff. The only part of the program I use with fidelity is the survey test and level placement tests.

Are there finals in the test that can be taken mid year and end in addition to the regular tests to give

How have you found the pan hold up? What about the claims from Fissler that you can use metal utensils without scratching?
