I was there, cos my daughter’s a freshman Falcon in the band. Looked like you were all having fun, we had fun listening to you.

They were coming onto the field as zombies to play Thriller. It was a very fun show.

@danhall2404 I absolutely LOVE all things marching band amd drum corps!! I was a "band aid" my senior year of high school, and that was the most fun I had all of high school!! One of my closest friends was drum major senior year and has now been on Broadway for the past 20 years! He said learning to "play to the stands" in DCI was just he needed to try his hand at musical theater! As my husband and I were leaving campus after moving our daughter in, we passed by the FMB practice field, and they were out practicing. We sat in the car for about 20 minutes, just listening to them play. It was amazing!!

sir, i’m sorry that we are a high school marching band and having fun. if you don’t like the way we do our things then that is just fine. there is no need to be hating on high school kids who did nothing to you. the way we do our things are the way we do them and how we’ve been taught and told. not everyone is the same just like not every marching band is the same. i’m sorry we hurt your feelings by the way we have fun while doing our band stuff. we aren’t a competition band and it doesn’t matter. we are proud of who we are and proud of who we have became. in the kindest way possible, please leave us alone. thank you and i’m sorry we hurt your feelings

Sir, I’m sorry you weren’t accepted to play a lead role in the upcoming Wonka movie. Yknow, since you wanna act like a clown. Please refrain from typing on your PC from your mother’s basement and go join a marching band and you might learn a thing or two about…i don’t know? Fun? Thank you for criticizing high schoolers who enjoy what they do. Are you okay? Do you need a hug? Because the fact you have to degrade literal children on the internet for your own self satisfaction is kind of sad. Have a nice night and practice your instrument!

with all due respect, you have no right to be hating on literal children. we are 14-18 years old. and not to mention you felt the need to watch the video as well. you could've watched it and went on with your life, or better yet just didn't watch it. i don't know if it gives you a reputation with all your little buddies or whatever but you're making us, as a band family pretty frustrated. we are doing what we are taught, and who cares if we're turning our heads or not marking time perfectly. we're having fun. and as a senior in this marching band, i think it's safe to say that every student in this video has more respect and dignity than you ever will. so please next time think before you react. thank you so much for reading all these responses and expect more to come! also always remember to practice your instrument! have a nice night, respectfully, a senior in this band!

Imagine hating on literal kids. Many people have turned their heads to see cues at certain times, to see their friends, etc - and this performance was clearly not meant to be expertly formal. Grow up and learn that not everything in this universe is perfect.
