This is probably my favorite music in the game can't wait for three to finish.

i had Sonia in my party for all of Chapters 1 and 2. Sonia was a force to be reckoned with. totally underrated member of the formation, based on what i'm reading from the comments. i used her trait, "club girl" as the foundation for her build: +30% club damage and white magic. i boosted her ATK stat as high as possible, which determine her club damage and white magic strength. "secret club skill" accessory added an additional +30% damage for club attacks. i had her max out strong ATK and white magic /holy jobs, like power fighter, giga fighter, temple knight, and paladin. this gave me access to abilities like club booster 15%, attack +30%, and critical rate 10%. if you're counting, that's club +30%, club +30%, club +15%. monstrous damage. she was a powerhouse at dealing damage to multiple targets, while reducing enemy defense (a status effect common for club attacks). earth fissure wave skill (680% attack, earth type, ignores 50% def) demolished my foes. if i was feeling *really* spicy, i'd switch her weapon from orichalcum hammer to devil hammer, so i could guarantee crit hits (at the cost of accuracy). Sonia's high attack stat also made her a great support unit using white magic, because of her trait. using powerful healing/support skills like saint's prayer, saint's protection, and holy spear guard were a huge asset to me as well. this made it all the more tragic that i had to fight against her, instead of with her. i was gutted. perhaps the most memorable moment of the entire first two chapters.

Love how this now plays when a certain someone, who was practically confirmed dead after fighting against an ultimate life form, unwittingly showing up at his own funeral unannounced as his friends are mourning his supposed passing.

Also now plays before any special floor superboss in the Labyrinth of Chaos, as you meet Chaos Goddess Black Alice at the Ilias Temple Ruins, as you see Kagetsumugi's true form during the collab and at various spots in the demo, I believe before the Himiko/Izanami fights as well as at the Great Decision on the Ilias route.

i had absolutely no remorse during this part i literally took her off the team at like level 3 lmao

i had to nerf myself after the first part of the fight because i literally buffed sphinx and she did like a 1,000,000 damage 😅

This theme also plays at the very end of the SHRIFT EX4 collab. Where the mysterious Adramelech lookalike, Cleo Adra. Makes her appearence. And finishes off Runaway Luka before ANY elaboration can be made on that incredibly strange version of the Fake Hero.
