One can also find distance of circle with desmos as long as there are two points. For question 20, set a=(-0.5,9.5) then b=(-0.5,-10.5) then do distance(a,b) then you’ll get 20. Distance is like the diameter so remember that then divide by 2 to get the radius, which is 10.

Question 25 (right triangle problem) at 43:10 is somewhat tricky. It is “probably” asking if angle D is 90 degree as drawn. If not, angle D is still sufficient to show that it is a right triangle (condition I). Assuming angle D is an acute angle. Then angle E is the right angle with legs 3 and 5. Angle F cannot be the right angle because 3 would become the hypotenuse (hypotenuse is longer than either legs). Using Law of Sine, SinF / 3 = SinD / 5 We just need to show that the sum of angles D and F equals 90. Thus, Condition I is a sufficient condition. We can also calculate angle E once angle F is known (sum = 180). As long as one of the angles is 90, it is a right triangle.

For Question 38 at 35:00, instead of replacing “a” by 2/3, we can replace 2/3 by “a” to simplify the notations. 4 sqrt(a) = 9 cbrt(b) 4/9 sqrt(a) = cbrt(b) (a)(a) sqrt(a) = cbrt(b) Cubing both sides, a^(5/2 x 3) = b From which, we get x = 15/2

For Question 22 at 30:00, since we are interested in the difference of the mean, we can reduce the number of calculations by directly subtracting integer values that have the same number of frequency in computing the average. ((3(20-19) + 4(30-29) + 7(40-39) + 9(50-49))/23 = (3+4+7+9)/23 = 1 As a sanity check, we can eyeball the graphs and use the process of elimination. Answers A and D are obviously wrong. Both data sets have approximately a mean of 35 (high 30s actual), but with data set A slightly larger than data set B. So answer B is the correct answer.

For problems similar to Question 38 at 56:00, instead of replacing “a” by 2/3, we can replace 2/3 by “a” to simplify notations. 4 sqrt (a) = 9 cbrt (b) 4/9 sqrt (a) = cbrt (b) (a)(a) sqrt (a) = cbrt (b) Cubing both sides, a^(5/2 x 3) = b From which, we get x = 15/2
