Well, in all technicality the sirens used in Mad Max were built by an Aussie company called LTS. I guess if you wanted to you could consider the Trooper to be the American variant. It's basically a higher-pitched Federal Signal PA15.

Very disappointing to see so many people don’t care about an emergency vehicle responding, I counted 29 vehicles that failed to yield to the engine once it got considerably close to the intersection.
