I'm glad you didn't get scammed. Unfortunately, domain names aren't expensive. There are often deals for the first year of ownership, so these scammers can run the scam for a year and then switch companies. I hope you reported the email to your email provider and they can help prevent that domain from getting their emails in inboxes.

As a contract manager I recommend you putting quotation marks (“) around the words Makeup Revolution to avoid any chance of slander / report to KZbin from Makeup Revolution. Other than that, good warning for others - we’ve all been caught out one time or another or at the very least know someone who has.

Maybe change your video title, before they sue (is that how you write it?) you😅

You are superb x what scammers hate more than anything is being sussed out and then outed x because that gives them 5000 less people to use that scam on x chin up xx and keep climbing your mountain it will be worth it when you get to the top x

Please don't be embarrassed - you got out of the scam, even though it was so sneaky! But yes, always check the domain name, sometimes it's like one letter is misspelled or added, that happens, unfortunately. And I hope your date went well - never be afraid to be you! If he doesn't like your makeup, he isn't the right person for you, because he will just keep disliking it up until the point you've had enough, so better know it in the beginning. ;)

Afaik, scams would not need to pay for domain names, they're simply spoofed

They don’t own the domain which isn’t that expensive. They spoof the email address it supposedly comes from. Glad they didn’t get away with it.

Im an accountant and I can tell you that scams with correct Mail Adresses exist. Fortunately I never fell for it. So please be careful!
