Ya. We cant use them in the kenai AK. 4 stroke only but you can get 2 strokes really cheap
@Escapetosea4 ай бұрын
Well… won’t be able to get those either before long I suppose. Everyone will be trying to get around with minkotas and solar panels I guess.

I think that you have a Volvo Penta md2 or md2 A not md2b, I can't see an extra ventilation from the crank house.

Can you tell me how to shutdown a Volvo penta Md2b without using compression release?

Man oh man oh MAN!! I just bought a Havsfidra 20 with an MD1B in it and cranked my brains out for two days and could not get her started. It would start from the starter motor by battery, but not by hand cranking. I'm going to try this tomorrow and I'll bet she starts just fine with the hand cranking now! Can't wait! Thank you SO much. Nobody EVER talks about this.....like it's supposed to be a "secret" or something!

Did you get it to go with the hand crank?!

Cool video, Lotsa class and sweet bike! I Got My T42 Nov 28... 🖤 I just set up my T42 using these directions kzbin.info/www/bejne/bJ-mZKyZo5ZmorM My original 0-3 PAS settings were 55, 65, 95... It's now 0-5 PAS levels from 0-20-35-50-75-100 I maxed out speed to 51km and went to 21" tire size. PAS1 is now manageable when you want to navigate slowly...

She is a lovely boat, and I don't envy you the varnishing! That said, the joy of sitting back when it is finished [and before you start again], and seeing that gleam on the woodwork makes the pain well worth it. I didn't have nearly so much to do on our own boat but i live in terror of a chip or scratch.

It was a 33 foot Islander with a 8 foot beam . It was mom and dad and us 4 children. We lived in channel islands harbor. We spent almost every weekend at the island off shore. Back in the 70s people were different,more social. Anyways one weekend we were leaving the islands with little wind so we flew our spinnaker sail and a gust of wind knock us down sails in the water. After what seamed like an eternity my dad released the sails full of water and we uprighted. I have too many of those stories. Tell me about your adventure? I'm really interested
