In my ECM 1992 the red RV1 (resistant voltage) is burnt. Which damages follow after this. Where can i find what kind of resistor voltage it is. I dont find it in the corvette books.

I was hoping you could show us how to charge it. Mine has 2 red dots and 1 flashing blue dot and it's been like that for the past 3 hours. Idk if that means it's fully charged or it's still charging.

@@vero4424 yeah when it's fully charged the blue dot will stop flashing. So it will be 2 red dots and 1 blue dot Which is dumb as hell. 🤣

on my 1993 corvette, have 2 ecms. both show c41 codes and ERR, module 4. So I did this fix on one ,and "I'llbegotohell"... it worked! I was very skeptical that it would not work, but it did, and I am happy!!

@acobbs9 no, im in europe and noone in europe can repair it apparently, in the USA there are some services though but the cost + shipping taxes and import fees was so high that i just bought a new used one instead. Car runs perfectly again.

i did not know you could just douse an entire circuit board in 90% alcohol for 10 minutes and it would be fine. i honestly always thought it was recommended over water because it evaporated almost instantly so it would clean and dry before damage. So i thought dumping parts into any liquid would permanently damage. but this is very enlightening, now I wont have any worries even cleaning the outter shell of my handhelds with alcohol.

I used to work for an aerospace company and we used 99% isopropyl alcohol to clean all of our boards. Afterwards we would use a Temp controlled heat gun to dry them. These boards where use in missiles and aircraft. I recommend 99% but i haven't had any issues with 90% myself.

There reliable unless you tune them to the extreme for 93 octane without doing a much safer and better tune on e85 ethanol , (you will need an e85 conversion kit) for superior cooling properties , regardless of the tune it is best to leave your LTG stock in my opinion unless you upgrade with forged eternals , then you can crank the boost up and not worry about grenading your pistons and or rings.

I had my car tune at 85k miles on E85. my car now has 140k miles on it. i haven't had any issues and im pushing 20psi. i did upgrade the cam at 120k. im still on stock pistons and rods. i drive my car hard daily.

Unfortunately no. When the pedal is pressed down it needs that extra gap otherwise you wont be able to press the pedal all the way down.

So i know the 4 cylinders only take premium gas and how much would a full tank be?? Or can it even handle normal gass like the 85??

here in California it cost about $85 to fill up the tank on 91. about $45 on e85. you need a tune and e85 sensor to run e85

Did this on my 93, got an engine code for loss of communication with the ECM. Car ran terribly. Was tight on money and gave this a shot and now the car runs better than ever before, truly amazing. I tried using alcohol to get the coating off the board at first but it did NOT work even a little bit. Acetone did the trick but only leave it in for one minute max and use a toothbrush to gently get the coating away. Has been a year now, and the fix is still holding strong. Thanks!

Why go to all this trouble when you can buy an SLA-10A 3.7v LIPO for $5? The SLA-10A is just a 1/2" shorter than the OEM battery but has the same poalrity and the 3 contacts line up?

Hi the point was to remove the old Mini USB connector and replace it with a modern USB-C. The battery was just extra

@@mitchellazevedo6637 That defeats the purpose. That is one more thing to carry. Having built in USB-C is just nicer and easier to charge on the go.

If you know anything about lipo batteries you shouldn't store them above 30% capacity otherwise they swell. So I'm guessing when you get them flat it's because of the shelf life before being bought they are slowly discharging over months of sitting in the store waiting to sell.. You never fully charge any lipo to sit over 3 months or it will kill it... If you are going to store any lipo over three months don't fully charge it !!! 30% lasts for at least 2-3yrs on a shelf...

store it at 3.8Volts to be exact. There's special smart chargers that can do that for you if anybody is wondering. These are cheap batteries so I doubt they can hold their charge for long. That's why I get them below voltage. That was the point of this video, these are cheap batteries and will die pretty fast so I do not recommend. They are a waste of money IMO. Better to buy something else.

It’s from 5 and below of course they aren’t going to be fully charged and I have bought other ones from other places and they weren’t fully charged so it doesn’t matter where u buy it

The power banks at 5 below are junk. Most of their electronics are junk and now they raised their prices. I recommend the amazon power bank that is the same price. I will upload another video soon on the better power bank from amazon.

I am having the exact same issues with my 92 Corvette. I have a few questions - So after you soak the board in Acetone you use brushes to remove the Conformal Coating? Also - At the end of the video you soak the board in Isopropyl Alcohol and then add a coat of the Conformal Coating? This is after you do the Flux step? Sorry, I got confused🙂

Hi there, I would try removing the conformal coating by soaking it in alcohol instead. Acetone is very strong and i mentioned it in the description. But if you have already done that then its fine. At the end of the video i soak it in alcohol to remove the flux. after letting it dry then you can reapply conformal coating. But test it first to make sure its working before you reapply conformal coating.
