Hummm, six month wait. We could only wish. We ordered a 2022 Prime and it finally arrived 21 months later. Only good thing about that was that we ended up with a 2024 and all that entails. We also have had two previous Prius' over a 16 year period. Neither gave a moments concern and gas consumption was never an issue. Locally, our fuel cost (for regular), converted from metric measure, amounts to a price of $7.22 a US gallon. Thus, the main reason we paid a premium for the Prime. It's been five weeks now since the dealer handed over the keys and the "free" tank of gas we drove away with is still over 5/8's full after 1,300km. My estimation of the cost for a full battery charge is $1.72 CAD and that gives us an 80km range before the engine will start. This car is a more perfect "EV" than any EV.
