I got scammed once, playing Diablo 2: LOD. Fell for a stupid scheme. Something called a "Dupe Check Scam" I was just young and inexperienced. Dude told me to download this program that would verify my items weren't duped.. It was an exe that dropped everything from my inventory on the ground. I lost a fully geared end-game characters gear, on Hardcore. Learned my lesson hard.
