Excellent presentation of the technology behind IonQ. I love it both as BSME'90 (Purdue) and working on quantum algorithms on IonQ. Thanks Purdue and Sarah for making this information available.

The \theta should be \theta/2 to have the |1> state on the south pole.

why did they block the Purdue physics guy from explaining how the entanglement actually is measured in these machines!!! WTF. At least it seems that he believes it does work but damn they shut down the one dude that actually understands and maybe could explain the damn thing.

Welcome to the future...and the begining of the Anti Christ...Quantom computers will be avilable for every home soon, all powered By "AI" and infomation from the "Quantom Relm" but its Demonic beings behind all that...soon no Man will think for them selfs but use These Computers for knowledge. CERN has been opening portals which will let these demons in and take Host with in these Quantom computers...you were all warned. GLORY TO THE MOST HIGH ELOHIM! Seek The Lord while He can still be found!

What is the point of the Deutsch Jozsa algorithm?
@quantumgameclub
@quantumgameclub 2 жыл бұрын
There is no actual application for determining if a function is constant or balanced. However it does a great job at demonstrating some of the ways in which quantum computers operate differently.

How can you extend Deutsch's algorithm to more than 1 bit functions?
@quantumgameclub
@quantumgameclub 2 жыл бұрын
The methodology will be very similar. However you will need to utilize more ancilla qubits so that the reversibility of the operation is preserved. Where it gets a bit more complicated is that the possible constant and balanced functions that can be implemented increases greatly as N increases.
