My 9 year old daughter has started playing baseball with her 10 year old brother and could not throw a baseball. I watched the video durning there practice and saw the coaches making comments about her throwing ( not to her but between them selfs) at a break I had her try the steps and she was instantly throwing 100% better!!!

Usually 3-5 ft from home plate. Depends on how many players. The idea is that you want the ball in play. If you have a lot of defenders, the kicker could even kick backwards. But with fewer defenders, you’ll want it so it’s fair for the defense to

Tried it with lot of expectations.. and for some reason.. every time i play the shortcut.. it starts with the same song.. so i never get to hear other songs. Wonder what the issue is. I am on iOS 16 on an iPhone X, and all the songs are mine that i ripped from. my CDs on my iPhone.. synced from the Mac.

Interesting… I know that the rules for a “play”, according to Apple, are that you finish the song. If you skip to the next one, it won’t count as having been played. I recommend playing around with the filters and seeing if something works. I also wonder if it works for me because I’m using Apple Music (with the subscription)

@@BeWellPlayed Good point on playing the song till the end.. and yes i did play the song.. and subsequent couple of songs after that too to completion. Yes let me try to see if some other setting makes a difference. An ideal thing would be if Apple lets us keep our music files locally on the files app for example.. and give us the same interface like the Macbook and let us create smart playlists at will .. at the least they could give this feature on the iPad. :)

Please help, I have done as you have said (worked perfectly before) but now in ios16 the last part 'play music' isnt working, could you take a quick look and tell us what the final filter should say. I think many would be very grateful 🙂

Weird… I just checked out this exact shortcut and it still works for me. Do you use Apple Music? It won’t work with Spotify (to my knowledge). There’s also a link in the description to this video that dives in deeper to some of the shortcuts I’ve made. Hopefully that helps!

Not to my knowledge. This works with iPhone alarms that are sent to the watch when they go off though. But I’m pretty sure Shortcuts have to run through the iPhone so you wouldn’t be able to use the shortcut without the iPhone present

You’re right! There’s a link in the description that shows how to make it. I only uploaded this to KZbin to embed on my website. I’ll probably change the settings or remake the video eventually (now that I have a better understanding of how YT works)
