this album came out a month after i got broken up with. it was almost a 4 year relationship and this song just pierces my soul how much it makes me reflect on how this past month has felt. to me it represents having to move forward in life even if it means to have to leave the comfortability of home, home being a relationship. i’ve been a huge Roy blair fan since cat heaven and never thought a second album would come out and the timing of everything is so crazy to me. I feel like i lost my own version of a Garden and it’s a scary feeling my sense of home and comfort the past 4 years is all of a sudden gone and im by myself but i have big plans in the future and maybe separating was for the best and will allow me to grow in a way i couldn’t have if she stayed. I love this song and album so much and it perfectly represents every feeling i’ve felt regarding my situation and i just wanna share how much it means to me. Thank you sm Roy and anyone who cared to read this far into my testimony of sorts lmao
