Thank you so much. I'm still shaky with *new hymnal* changes. I'm an old TLH/WELS/LCMS kid. It feels so foreign to have different melodies and texts. Doesn't feel like home. I keep trying to get over these constant changes. 😢 I didn't expect things in the church to change.

Ohhhhh. I was attending WELS in CA until my move to IN in '02. In this So. IN town (County) I had to choose between LCMS AND ELCA. So, since '02 I have been going thru the LCMS hymnal changes. I'm an "old Lutheran". Change is frustrating. I'm trying. Thank you for responding. ❤ @@HeritageLutheranChurch

Sometimes its frustrating because a lot of us think we are good Christians...but I don't think we are truly keeping his COMMANDMENTS.. loving our neyburs as ourselves....😢

We all fall short of God's demand of perfection. That's why we cling in faith to the perfect life and innocent death of Jesus for us! That's our promise of God's love and full and free forgiveness. Because of that, now, we desire with Christ living in us to love God and our neighbor to thank him for all that he has done for us. And where we fail, we repent and trust that for Jesus' sake, God still loves us and continues to show us his mercy and forgive us. Thank you for your comment, and may God bless you!

Thank you so much for your awesome message. This service was especially meaningful today, in that I had a very severe heart attack in early July, and returned home recently from St. Luke's Hospitap, recovering from open heat surgery. Four heart by-passes wete required to repair the damage to my heart....God Ansers our Prayers.🙏🙏🙏
