I'll catch your show at the Jean Mathews Tuesday At Twelve concert series tomorrow (Tuesday, July 9th), here in Hamilton, Montana. I'm also a musician and if you're not busy this coming Saturday, come on by at the American Legion Park by the Hamilton Farmers Market, where I'll be doing a show from 9AM-1PM (or so). As a solo artist/keyboardist, I go by the stage name, The WiZaRd, and with guitarist Gino Maciel (and drummer/multi-instrumentalist Greg Bartlett), we play as The Mo-Vers, and with just me and Greg, we play as GREGORY & The WiZaRd. And if you like, bring your guitar and we could do a fun jam for good measure. I think it would be a totally awesome-pawsome treat for everybody here in the Bitterroot. 😎😎🎹🎹

It sounds much better without all that brass and backing up music and fla fla.You can really hear the singer sing and appreciate his voice.Simplicity in a song is the best version sometimes..

Wow great memory. I did do one way back when I was first learning to play guitar. Thought I would update with a bit better quality but then again, people got really attached to that old one. I guess sometimes that's just the way it goes, :)

It's been a while since I recorded this but I think it's F -> Dm -> Gm -> C7 for most of it. The rest keeps the same form but just moves to different keys. Any realbook or jazz book will have the right ones, I always kind of sound it out so maybe not accurate!

It's an English Translated version of La Mer and a good one too, so it's even easier to sing this way. Savarez Argentine Strings (10 Gauge Extra Light with Ball Ends) would be great for getting a more proper Acoustic Guitar Jazz sound
