I really enjoy trying amigurumi patterns that use interesting stitches to literally sculpt shapes and create interesting effects. I'm not interested in making blankets, so I really appreciate when I get an opportunity to try different stitches.

This has been the best & easiest tutorial as I’m picking up crochet after many yrs after putting it down. I’ve always struggled with this & it’s the main reason I put it down yrs ago. I can’t thank you enough. I finally found the easiest way for me to do this. Bc u turn your hand it made it much easier bc I cld see everything you did & watch myself while following along. Thank you so much bc I wld have put this down again as I want to make Ami & have never been able to. Today I’ve been able to. I hope you have more tutorials bc ur a good teacher & I still have a lot to refresh my mind as I begin again.

Is there a way to ensure the felt can't be pulled up?
@cbfiberworks3 ай бұрын
@@faustinolagunas4652 if you poke it down into the piece really really well it will be very difficult to pull up.

This is great - I love the technique for the mouth/smile (going up and under the higher stitch to give definition/shape). So simple, but I wouldn't have known how to do this without being shown. The tip on "gentle" tension is something I definitely haven't utilized. Thanks!

With the right yarn, you could make this a hacky sack . Maybe with rice inside? I'm not sure what they stuff hackies with. What a cute idea. With bulky yarn, you could make it a round pillow. 😀

Grazie mille per il tuo bellissimo tutorial. Volevo farti una domanda. Una volta fatti gli occhi cosi se per esempio si dovesse tirare la lana, essa rimane saldata bene oppure c’e possibilita che tirandola venga via? Grazie
@cbfiberworks5 ай бұрын
Hi! Depending on how thorough you are with felting, the wool should not pull out once you are done. If you take the time to poke all the wool into solid layers you should not have an issue.

Thank you so much for your beautiful tutorial. I wanted to ask you a question. Once you have made the eyes like this, if for example you were to pull the wool, does it remain well welded or is there a possibility that if you pull it it will come off?

Thank you for your videos Is there a special way to wash an amigurumi using this kind of technique? Or is it better not to have it as a toy, but as an ornament?

This is great. I've been really wanting to make some characters from my favorite animes and webcomics. I like this idea much better than using safety eyes since the anime eyes are so big. I can't wait to try this out. I've been wanting to get into needle felting since I saw that you can use it on amigurumi.
